This week has been interesting. There is a wonderful lady who comes in and helps me 3 days a week. Yeya is like another grandmother for JD and she sees him as another grandchild.
She has been teaching him to sit up, stand, wave, make kiss sounds, and many other things that I would not have thought to teach him yet. She has a brand new nieta in Florida and left yesterday to spend time with this new grandbaby for the next week. We are so excited she gets to meet this new angel and spend time with her, but............................WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITHOUT YEYA for a week? :-)
Gramma is coming over every day after work next week (maybe I can get a few billable hours in). That will be a great help and I look forward to spending more time with my Mom.
Aunt Lala has offered to take JD for a few days, but I am just not ready for him to be that far away for that long. I know Aunt Lala and Uncy Dave are chomping at the bit to get a few days in with their new sobrino, but they have been really great about being patient and waiting for me to be ready.
I am so lucky to have such great family!
I am working on this blogging thing, but everything seems to come out disjointed!
Please keep in your prayers this week: Mom's health, Nea's finals, Am's jaw/speech, an unspoken for us, Papaw's health, and Pap's health

Letters to JD
So......a few weeks ago, I had this great idea. Every week or two, I would write a letter to JD about whatever I was feeling at the time and his milestones. I jotted all my thoughts down. Then wrote the long letter in my best handwriting (which is getting worse and worse). Then I set it on the end table and rocked my little man to sleep.
Did I put it up, in a binder, anything to protect that labor of love? No, I left it on the end table while considering how I wanted to save it.
The next day....JD decorated it with part of his last meal. So, I will make an attempt to do the same on this blog. He can spit up on the keyboard.....but I have more of these!
~E told me yesterday that she doesn't hear enought about JD, so I will try to blog consistently.
That little 5 month old makes my heart skip a beat!
